Kadi was in the vanguard of primary and secondary education in the erstwhile Gaykwad state. Further, the need for higher education gave the birth to C.N.Arts & B.D.Commerce college which was started at the fort of Kadi in the building of Kadi Kelvani Mandal by M.P.Shah Education Society in 1963.
